In a recent Facebook, Ameera Kara, MK Ayoob Kara’s daughter who works at IMedCare, recounted the following about her visit to the United Arab Emirates: “After two weeks of meetings in the United Arab Emirates, I can say with great pleasure that I had the privilege of exposing to the people in the United Arab Emirates the advanced technologies that Israel has to offer in the medical field and to promote the State of Israel as a destination for medical tourism.”
“I was amazed to see the true peace emerging between the peoples,” she proclaimed. “I was extremely excited to be hosted by sheikhs, who support and encourage any cooperation that makes our relationship closer. One of them was Abu Rashid, whom we spoke to for hours. I was very impressed by his knowledge and deep understanding of everything related to the culture and history of Israel.”
According to MK Kara’s daughter, Abu Rashid stated that he sought to visit Yad Vashem and the Mahane Yehuda Market: “We expect close economic, medical and tourism cooperation to advance solid cooperation between the peoples. And as we celebrate the New Year, there is no doubt that we are on the threshold of a new and more prosperous Middle East.”
