Following the elimination of chief Iranian nuclear scientist Mohsen Fakhrizadeh, a prominent member of the Iranian Revolutionary Guards, the Iranians have reported that he was eliminated via remote-controlled weapons. Although there are other scenarios that have been reported regarding how Fakhrizadeh was eliminated, the very fact that he may have been hit off utilizing remote-controlled weapons highlights the possibility that it is possible to kill enemy targets utilizing robots.
Maariv reported that it is possible that former Israeli Communication Minister Ayoob Kara already know about the possibility of eliminating enemy targets via robots in 2017, when he famously referred to this possibility, a statement that was mocked by the Israeli left. In a recent Facebook post, Kara stressed that he expects an apology from both former MK Eitan Cabel and Former Labor Party Chairman Haim Herzog, alongside anyone on the left who felt peace was impossible with the Arab states until the conflict with the Palestinians is resolved.
“Today, everybody understands that Israel has sophisticated ways to fight terrorism,” Kara proclaimed. “Fakhrizadeh’s method of elimination is something out of science fiction novels. It is no wonder that the pressure increases upon Hezbollah terror leader Hassan Nasrallah. He will soon understand that even in his bunker he is not safe.”
