The Deputy Minister, Member of the Knesset, Ayoob Kara, has great importance for his activities outside the country, especially with the Arab countries, and he always seeks to link new relations, enhance public relations, and insures and confirms the continuity of contact and the continuity of dialogue and overcoming old deposits, controlling emotions, and judging logic despite the presence of obstacles Difficulties in the prevailing relations in the region. Mr. Ayoob is active in many fields, but he is particularly interested in foreign relations, as he travels on official missions, represents the country and tries to achieve in its name the desired peace, anticipated calm and reassurance from horrors and wars. This has been able in the last period to help in the facilities for the Druze citizens in the Golan Heights to travel in large numbers to visit the holy places and visit the relatives and relatives in Syria and stay there a few days, as it facilitated the issue of continuing the export of apples from the plateau to Syria. He managed to convince the prime minister and the defense minister of the importance of this link between the Druze of the plateau and their families in Syria.
Mr. Ayoob has contacts with the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, and he deals with the issue of establishing industrial zones and free zones between the two countries, in order to encourage trade relations between Israel and the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. He also has discussions regarding the exploitation of existing water resources in coordination and order. It will also discuss the topic of a joint development of tourism in the Eilat and Aqaba region. Mr. Ayoob Kara, Deputy Minister of Development of the Galilee and the Negev and Regional Cooperation with the Arab Republic of Egypt, will discuss the issue of the joint border in Sinai and the construction of a wall to prevent infiltration and smuggling. He has contacts with Palestinian Authority officials related to joint economic cooperation.
And Mr. Ayoob started his attempts in the 1980s in the Land of Cedars, where he served as a young officer, during the campaign for the safety of the Galilee, and he was a major, and he had his status and he saw there things that he was not comfortable with regarding the treatment of the State of Israel with the Druze community In Lebanon, its support for the brigades, and at times it ignored the attacks of the Kataeb elements on the Druze of Lebanon, which led him to submit his resignation, and to request that he be excused from the service in protest of this treatment. In July 1983 he sent a letter to the IDF Chief of Staff Moshe Levy calling for his exemption from military service in protest of Israel’s policy against members of his sect in Lebanon. At the time, he obtained the support of the late Sheikh Amin Tarif, the spiritual head of the Druze community, as he stated in a letter he sent to him in 1988 after he issued a book explaining his steps and protesting H in it:

And the late Sheikh Jabr Al-Ma’adi wrote to him, saying:
“… your stances are good and your sacrifices are many for the sake of your sect, and if this indicates something, it indicates your courageous Druze personality … The visit of the late Lebanese Member of Parliament Qahtan Hamadeh to you at your home shows his appreciation for your efforts in the interest of your sect. Religion is appreciation and love for you … ”
Mr. Ayoob Kara was born in 1955, he studied at the elementary school in the village, and at the Kfar Galim School in Haifa, then enlisted in the army and participated in the officers’ course, and advanced in ranks until his participation in the Safety of Galilee campaign in 1982 and submitted his resignation. He founded a company in 1986 that remained in place until 1999, employing more than 800 workers and employees. He joined the Likud party and was prominent in it. He was first elected to the Knesset in 1999 and appointed deputy to the Knesset. He was elected for the second time in the Likud’s country list in 2003 and headed the Knesset Committee for Combating Alcohol and Drugs. He was appointed head of the Committee to Examine Foreign and Palestinian Workers. He was elected for the third time in 2009 and joined the government as a deputy minister in the Ministry of Development of the Galilee and the Negev and Regional Cooperation, and the prime minister promised him that in the event of any change in the government he will get a portfolio of minister in it. Mr. Ayoob studied law books at Kiryat Ono College, won the title in 2007 and is now studying public administration for a second degree at Tel Aviv University.
